Zirconia Alumina 4 inch x 36 inch Abrasive Belt

Zirconia Aluminum Oxide 4 inch x 36 inch abrasive belts are formulated with premium zirconia grains fully resin bonded to a sturdy x-weight polyester backing, providing a strong yet flexible belt that can withstand heat and thrive in high-pressure abrasive applications. These belts are extremely versatile; the premium dense zirconia grains on each 4" x 36" wide abrasive belt are formulated for aggressive and heavy stock removal applications, while the open-coat properties allow them to grind on softer materials without loading. Due to the self-sharpening properties of zirconia, it will cut faster and more consistently over a longer period of time than aluminum oxide alternatives. When used in heavy-duty, aggressive applications, zirconia particles last 2-3 times longer than alumina particles on belts.4" x 36" zirconia belts can be wet or dry and are available in 36 grit, 40 grit, 60 grit, 80 grit, and 120 grit sizes. These belts are designed for use on portable belt sanders, bench grinders, rear vertical belt sanders, and knife belt sanders.
